Why we started Sorano.
Smart toilets have existed for forty years. Most cost as much as the rest of the bathroom, and look like it.
The problem
The toilet gets chosen last.
Everyone uses a toilet several times a day. It is the one object in the house that nobody chooses with any pleasure, and the last thing anyone spends money on.
So bathrooms get a good basin, a good shower, good tiles, and whichever toilet the plumber had on the van.
What we did
One you'd actually choose.
We started Sorano to make a smart toilet you'd choose for the way it looks, and keep for the way it works.
Three models on one wall-hung body. The same wash, the same self-cleaning bowl, the same two-year warranty. The difference is how much each one does for you.
What we care about
Four things, in order.

Clean, without the chores
A mist before use so nothing sticks. A nozzle that rinses itself. An antimicrobial glaze, and UV sterilisation on the upper models. The toilet does the unpleasant part. You clean it now and then, not every few days.

Comfort you notice every day
A warm seat on a cold morning. A warm wash and warm air instead of paper. A lid that opens before you reach it. The kind of thing you stop noticing until you use someone else’s toilet.

Designed like furniture
One ceramic form, wall-hung, with the seat module built in and nothing on show that doesn’t need to be. Drawn in Europe, for European bathrooms, and for people who would rather their toilet didn’t look like a gadget.

Made as one product
The ceramic, the electronics and the seat module are designed together and tested as one, not assembled from a catalogue of parts. Three models share one body, so every Sorano is built to the same standard.

Standard installation
Every model mounts on a Geberit Sigma concealed frame. No special parts, no special plumber.
